In college, she was a feature, news, and sports reporter and received numerous honors and awards. Upon graduating, she worked with local companies in Tennessee: Nashville Parent Magazine, The Daily News Journal, and Rezoom.com, while maintaining her interest in covering entertainment events as a freelancer. From there she worked with a national online publication Examiner.com as an entertainment journalist. She also started her journey into public relations working with 2-time Grammy winning producer Torrance “Street Symphony” Esmond. She helped with his Grammy marketing campaigns, press releases, and birthed a scholarship in his name at MTSU.
Currently, she is working with a new client 13 year old teen author Robyn Gordon who hails from Clarksville, TN. At the age of 11, she wrote her first book titled, “Stop Bullying” and made history as the youngest Stellar Award nominee. In addition, she has been featured on CBS news, traveled the US on a book tour, trained various schools/ classes on how to stop bullying and raise awareness for bullying.
