After African-American performer Josephine Baker expatriated to France, she famously smuggled military intelligence to French allies during World War II. She did this by pinning secrets inside her dress, as well as hiding them in her sheet music.
Allensworth is the first all-black Californian township, founded and financed by African Americans. Created by Lieutenant Colonel Allen Allensworth in 1908, the town was built with the intention of establishing a self-sufficient city where African Americans could live their lives free of racial prejudice.

According to Halle’s rep, the 46-year-old actress, who has a 5-year-old daughter name Nahla with her ex Gabriel Aubrey, delivered the couple’s son at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Saturday night. People.com says that a source told them:
Halle Berry and fiancé Olivier Martinez are set to have a baby boy this fall.
“My son will be an American, but I remain French,” Martinez told People at the Champs-Elysees Film Festival in Paris on Wednesday.
Berry,who’s already mother to her five-year-old daughter Nahla, began a relationship with Martinez in 2010 after splitting with ex-beau and father of her child, Gabriel Aubry. She got engaged to Martinez after two years of dating.
In 2010, Berry told Wendy Williams that her daughter had been hoping for a sibling. “That’s the thing,” said Berry. “My daughter is asking me. Every night we pray to God, and she’s so sweet. She says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.’ And I say, ‘I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on.'”
