These previously unreleased images of Michael Jackson popped up over the weekend — oddly enough, just before the massively anticipated release of the Michael collection. The pics were reportedly shot by Arno Bani, circa 2000, in a photoshoot evidently planned for Michael’s Invincible album, and then scrapped in favor of other images.

The King of Pop’s first posthumous music video debuted today which features Akon and several fans. It even includes his fans and serves as a tribute insipired video. There is one man in the video without a hand.
“Hold My Hand” is the first from the 10-song posthumous CD, “Michael,” set to drop December 14.
I blogged about this song last month. It has been heavily criticized since it is a duet spectators and MJ fans have argued there wasn’t enough MJ vocals. They also feel as though it isn’t put together properly.
According to MJ’s website:
The “Hold My Hand” video will premiere on BET at 9:30pm on Thursday as part of a 30-minute Michael Jackson special. The video will also be aired on MTV, VH1 and FUSE.
Pellington shot “Hold My Hand” in California with a diverse array of real Michael Jackson fans as its cast. In the video, Pellington tells the story of the song through a collage of images of both Michael and Akon as well as people representing Michael’s legacy, shining a light on the aura left behind by King of Pop. As he describes, “The video is a tribute to all that Michael stands for — life, in all its permutations…love, and its power…. A video of memory, healing and joy.”
What do you think about this video after watching it? Do you think MJ WOULD BE HAPPY OR UPSET ABOUT THIS VIDEO, SONG AND ALBUM?
WATCH AS AKON SPEAKS ON MEETING MJ FOR THE FIRST TIME:
OKAY, so I heard this song on the radio yesterday and I want to know is this a GO OR NO-GO WITH MJ’s new song that Akon insisted on releasing.
According to MJ NEWS:
The song entitled “Hold My Hand”, a duet with Akon, is a song they recorded in 2007. A handwritten note from Michael belonging to his Estate indicated his desire that “Hold My Hand” be the first single on his next project. However, in its unfinished state, the song leaked out in 2008. Akon recently completed the new and final production of “Hold My Hand.”
On December 14th, Epic Records in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson, will release the much-anticipated new album MICHAEL. The album contains ten tracks, produced by an esteemed group of producers along with Michael Jackson. While primarily focused on songs that Michael worked on recently, there are also earlier compelling tracks.
Man I so miss MJ! RIP. His memory will definitely live on forever with all the music he made and all the new technology we see with him like the new game The Michael Jackson Experience, which is definitely on my Christmas List! ( Check out the game below)
